"Live long and prosper." So who's going to handle warranties and personal one-off requests? Or Am I getting ahead of myself while Rene prepares his announcement? Boo Lite You didn't read the announcement carefully enough. There is no where I was saying Blue Circle is going away nor will merge with ...

An official Announcement

Many moons before I have announced my semi-retirement in November 2016 on Facebook, which not many people have notices, someone approached me with an offer. He said what if we have a company that allow me to do R&D and design work, he will handle the general public, would I be interested. That offer...

Here is the link to some TAVES 2017 show pictures of Entracte Audio room. Lots of Blue Circles in the room. I was there all three days causing some "my kind of trouble".

It's only a semi-retirement. I am still going to work on new products. As long as my brain have blood flowing in and out, I don't think I can stop building toys. As I am typing this post, I am designing a new "something".

It goes between source and pre-amp? Never mind, question answered. I’m intrigued by this product. Normally I avoid putting extra components in the signal chain, but this may prove an exception. Yes, it can goes between source and pre-amp. It also can go between preamp and power amp. If it is plac...

Ya, they don't build them like they used to. My old Denon DSD 3520 from the 80's is still performing well and built like a tank. I do run the digital out into a more up to date DAC but its still not bad through the analog outputs. Denon stuff were a hit and miss to me. The DCD 3520 was one of the h...

Pretty small power supply, isn't it? Worst, it's a switching power supply, a.k.a. noise maker. Quality wise, as good as a wall wart, except it doesn't plug directly onto a wall. It's built right inside the unit. No way to upgrade to anything better. Why do manufacture do that? Cheaper to make, what ...

More than half an empty box

Recently, I have the "pressure" to work on a one year old CD player. 2/3 of the box is empty. So why do they put it in a big box?

AND see if you can find its power supplies.

k-Dub Instead of hiring the right peed pol to deal with peed pol, I just handle less peed pol. Since I am semi-retired, I should handle 1/2 of the people I used to handle. This semi-retirement thing has turned out to be a good marketing poly. Not the way I had intended but it turns out the way it is...
