Simple, but enjoyable. This system is upstairs in the "non-TV family room" with the piano. I suppose in the early 1900's it would have been called a parlour. However, you can't have audio gear in a parlour, so that's not what this room is.

The CD player is a Musical Fidelity A3, the amp is the Blue Circle BmPH/MDF, and since we've been playing "guess what speakers", I'll let you all...well, you know. Oh yeah, interconnec ts and speaker wire are all Blue Circle as well, and everything is plugged into a BC606.

All lite, it seem Eso is not going to answer U may be since that is actually my receiver on loan to Eso. I will answer your guess. It is a Sansui G series but not a G-9000. :P B) :rolleyes:

What did you do to that poor looking amp? it looks like something in Gilberts experimental laboratory... :D

Well, that's it exactly - it is an experimental amp. Gilbert's protoypes come in all shapes and sizes, the latest being a headphone amp in a Danish butter cookie tin. In this case, the parts got slapped into an old amplifier chassis. But when it got turned on and warmed up, I kinda forgot about the looks...
